• WHAT IS THE NEWTOWN JAZZ FESTIVAL?

The Newtown Jazz & Heritage Festival (Newtown JazzFest) is an initiative of the Niki’s Heritage & Creative Arts Foundation. This initiative is rooted in the legacy of Niki’s Oasis Jazz Restaurant, an award-winning live jazz venue that has hosted an array of jazz events for three decades. Located in the Newtown Cultural Precinct, Niki’s Oasis has attracted jazz patrons from both local and international markets, becoming a pivotal institution in the global jazz community.

The Newtown Jazz and Heritage Festival takes place in the Newtown Cultural Precinct at the beginning of the year. The dates of the next festival will be announced soon.
